Hi
I’m Anke Snauwaert, a clinical psychologist with a holistic approach.
For me, therapy is about (re)connecting with yourself.
I look at you as a whole: your thoughts, feelings, body experiences, and the context of your life. Together, we explore where you feel stuck, what needs attention, and how to create more space and clarity in your life.

Yoga and somatic movement are an important part of my life. Through movement, we find pathways to awareness, healing, and deeper connection with ourselves.
My Story & Approach
I have always been fascinated by ways to help people connect with themselves. I draw inspiration from music, movement, and creative forms of therapy. I gained experience as a street worker in Bolivia, in youth care in Brussels, and later developed my own private practice in Ostend, Belgium.
I am curious about how society shapes us, and I notice in my practice that many people struggle with stress and sensitivity.
Through my own experiences and my work with clients, I have developed a strong trust in the body as a gateway to healing: a place where experiences are held, but also a source of resilience.

I believe in therapy that is gentle, attuned, and paced to you, where mind and body both have a voice, and where you are welcome with everything you carry. From a place of understanding and compassion, we can take steps toward a life that feels true to who you really are.
